Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed to book an appointment with Pure Path. You can book directly by calling the clinic.
If another practitioner is already involved in your care, bringing their details along is useful, but it is not a requirement.
What does an appointment cost?
A telehealth consultation is $80 for 15 minutes. An in-clinic consultation is $185, which is approximately $100 out of pocket after the Medicare rebate, subject to your eligibility. Review appointments for patients already under our care are $30.
Fees are payable at the time of your appointment. If cost is a barrier for you, please raise it with reception before booking rather than after.
Can I claim with Medicare?
A Medicare rebate is available for in-clinic consultations, subject to your eligibility. Bring your Medicare card to your appointment.
Rebates depend on the appointment type and on meeting Medicare’s eligibility requirements, which we cannot determine in advance. If you are unsure whether a rebate will apply to your appointment, ask reception when you book.
Where is the clinic, and can I be seen by telehealth instead?
Our clinic is at Shop G3, Earle Plaza, 52 Price Street, Nerang QLD 4211. Telehealth appointments are available as an alternative to attending in person.
If you are outside Queensland, please call the clinic before booking so we can confirm whether we are able to see you.
What happens after my consultation?
That depends on what your assessment shows. Your practitioner may arrange investigations, discuss management options, recommend a review appointment, or refer you to another practitioner where that is the more appropriate path.
Booking an appointment does not guarantee any particular treatment or prescription. Your practitioner will discuss what is clinically appropriate for your circumstances.
