A practice built around being listened to

Pure Path Medical was set up around a straightforward idea: that people get better healthcare when they have enough time to explain what is actually going on, and when somebody tells them plainly what the options are.

That is harder than it sounds. Short appointments, long waits and the sense that you are taking up someone's time all work against it. We have tried to design the practice so those pressures are lower — appointments you can book without a referral, telehealth for when getting to a clinic is the obstacle, and review appointments priced so that following up is not a financial decision.

What we are, and what we are not

Pure Path is a medical practice. Our practitioners are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and work within the requirements of the National Law.

We are not a pharmacy and we do not dispense medicine. Where a prescription is clinically appropriate, it is dispensed by an independent pharmacy that you choose. Patients commonly use Chem Pro Nerang or Chem Pro Surfers Paradise, but you are under no obligation to use either.

We are also not an emergency service. If you need urgent help, call 000.

How we approach an appointment

An appointment starts with your history and your circumstances, not with a conclusion. Where investigations would clarify things, your practitioner will arrange them. Where the answer is that a different kind of care would serve you better, they will say so and help you work out where to go.

No treatment is guaranteed by booking, and no outcome is promised. What is offered is a proper assessment and a clear explanation of what it found.
