Hormone Health
Consult a practitioner about hormonal symptoms, investigations and the options that may be appropriate for you.
An area you can consult us about
Hormonal changes can affect energy, sleep, mood, weight, libido and menstrual patterns, among other things. They are also easy to attribute the wrong cause to — many of these symptoms have explanations that have nothing to do with hormones at all.
An appointment is an opportunity to describe what you have noticed and to have it assessed properly, rather than to arrive at a predetermined answer.
What an appointment involves
Your practitioner will take a history, ask about your symptoms and their timeline, and consider your broader health context. Where investigations are useful, these may be arranged. Any management options are discussed with you on the basis of what your assessment actually shows.
What we will not do
We will not tell you in advance what treatment you will receive, because that depends entirely on your individual circumstances and what a proper assessment finds. Some people who book will be better served by a different kind of care, and if that is the case your practitioner will say so and help you work out where to go next.
Ongoing care
Where a plan of care is started, review appointments allow your practitioner to check how you are going and adjust the approach.
